V/A: A tribute to Nasum

Nasum was a fantastic band – no doubt about it, unless you are a retard of course – but tributes aren’t of the same ilk. Never has been, never will be, and this piece of plastic packing a tsunami of blasts didn’t change my stance by much at all. In other words, I still think best-of’s and tributes should be illegal on par with child-rape and bloody murder. I’d like to see bloody murder legalized, oh yeah, but ‘till then…
Not every last band on here sound like crap topped with puke, Bathtub Shitter and many with them certainly do, but overall the norm is quality. By an inch or so. Rompepromp is another unhonorable mention, drown them cunts in acid, and on the other side of the scale we find Rotten Sound. And Deathbound. And many others, like Leng Tch’e for example But, and this is important, none of them improves upon the original workings.
It may seem lazy to end this review at this point. Hell, at this point it isn’t even a review. Nor will it be. I have massive amounts of respect for the talents as previously possessed by Mr. Talarczyk – not only a great musician, in addition an ace producer – but I anyways ask: why not buy and listen to the original Nasum recordings instead?
Here is much not to be despised, even a pleasant surprise or two, but buy only if already in possession of everything Nasum ever recorded. Or if you happen to enjoy it more than me.
